MySQL Database Data-at-Rest Encryption

For added security when storing sensitive user data, a simple switch to enable "Data-at-Rest Encryption" would be extremely useful.

I've had to use an alternative hosting solution for a couple of recent sites which contained sensitive data. Having an encrypted database was a non-negotiable requirement from the clients.
